How does Pichoose work?
Tap “Choose 2 Pics” and select both pictures together in the same gallery selection. Then tap “Pichoose!” Pichoose compares clarity, exposure, contrast, detail, color and balance, then selects the picture with the stronger combined technical score. See How It Works for the complete method.
What does the Pichoose score mean?
The score is a weighted technical-quality rating derived from the six displayed metrics. It helps compare the submitted pair; it is not an objective rating of artistic value.
Do I need an account?
No. Pichoose works without registration.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. You can select pictures from your phone gallery. On supported mobile browsers, the camera control can also open your phone camera so you can capture a picture and use it in the comparison.
Are my pictures uploaded or stored?
No. The comparison runs locally in your browser. The selected pictures are not uploaded to Pichoose or stored in a permanent Pichoose image library.
Does Pichoose use generative AI to inspect my pictures?
No. The current comparison uses browser-based image measurements and does not send the selected pictures to a generative-AI or external vision provider.
Can professionals use it?
Yes. Pichoose is consumer-friendly by design, but photographers, designers, contributors, marketers and other creators can use it as a quick second opinion between two visual options.
Can I upload adult or explicit pictures?
No. Pichoose is a general-audience service. Sexually explicit or pornographic material is prohibited.
Is the result objective?
No. Pichoose provides an automated technical assessment. It cannot fully judge personal taste, emotion, storytelling, creative intent or the requirements of a professional brief.
