Privacy

This notice describes how Pichoose.com handles pictures, analytics, advertising-related technologies and other service data.
Who is responsible for the service?
Pichoose.com is operated by Evangelos Arabatzoglou. For privacy questions or requests, contact Pichoose through the official Pichoose LinkedIn page.
Pictures you choose
The current prototype performs its technical comparison in your browser and does not require permanent server storage of the two pictures. Pictures remain available only for the current browser session unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
If Pichoose enables server-side or third-party AI analysis, this notice will identify the image-processing provider, the data sent to that provider, the purpose and legal basis of the processing, relevant retention periods, recipients, and any international data transfers before that processing is used in production.
Camera and gallery access
Your browser or operating system controls access to your camera and media gallery. Pichoose receives only the pictures you actively select or capture for use in the service.
Advertising, cookies and consent
Pichoose may use Google advertising products. Google and other advertising technology providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers in connection with ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
Where consent is required, Pichoose will request it before optional advertising or analytics storage is used. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the production ad implementation will use a Google-certified consent management platform where required by Google’s publisher requirements.
Analytics and technical data
When analytics is enabled, Pichoose uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site usage and improve the service. GA4 may process information such as device and browser characteristics, approximate location derived from network information, referral information, page interactions and diagnostic data. Analytics storage is denied by default and is enabled only after you choose to accept analytics in the Pichoose privacy banner. Advertising-related consent signals remain denied unless a separate compliant advertising consent system is introduced.
Legal bases
Depending on the production feature, processing may rely on your consent, performance of a service you request, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as security and basic service operation. Pichoose will not rely on a legal basis that does not fit the actual processing.
Retention
Browser-only image data is not intended to be retained by Pichoose after the active session. Any production server logs, consent records, analytics data or AI-processing records will have defined retention periods documented here once the relevant services are enabled.
Your data-protection rights
Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, request portability, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. To make a privacy request, contact Pichoose through the official Pichoose LinkedIn page.
